Stunning VIEWS & Private, Yosemite Gold Rush Ranch

Overview

Our Yosemite home is just 22 miles from West Entrance to Yosemite National Park driving along the scenic Merced River. Our peaceful and very private nine acre property has expansive views of the Sierras. The home is perfect for accommodating a family on vacation, but cozy enough for a couples weekend. With three full baths it's easy to get ready for your daily adventures in Yosemite...although you might never want to leave the property. Come and enjoy the seclusion!
Our beautiful 2 bedroom 3 bathroom home sits on top of a ridge on a nine acre lot filled with oak trees. As you step on the back deck, you will have unobstructed views of the Sierras with no neighbors in sight. It's peaceful and quiet up here - just rabbits and deer wandering about. The red barn stands peacefully in the middle of the property.

Inside the house, the great room overlooks the Sierras with postcard views through large windows. A Sonos sound system lets you relax to your music as you watch the sun rise over the mountains. Roku TV in guest mode lets you sign into your own streaming services through high speed Starlink Internet.

If cooking is your thing, the home has a brand new kitchen with all new appliances and cookware. We have fridge, stove, dishwasher, toaster, pots, pans, cups, plates, utensils, InstantPot, Rice cooker, and a BBQ grill. Love coffee? We have Oxo burr coffee grinder, Hario pour over setup, mokapot and a Ninja coffee maker.

There’s a bathroom with stand-in shower right off living room for quick showers. The second bedroom has two twin beds and an attached bathroom with bath tub and a shower. The master suite has a king bed with a bath tub. With three full baths, your entire group can get ready for the day or quickly unwind for the evening.

A large deck wraps around the house with space to hang out. Take in the sunrise over Yosemite in the morning from couple of large and cozy hammocks. Or watch the evening light slowly fade away into darkness. See the stars blanket the night sky and the Milky Way...

We have a heat pump that keeps the house cool in summer and warm in winter. It's powered by solar and Tesla Powerwall battery. Even in a power outage, you have peaceful, quiet power that will keep you comfortable. There's also a wood stove in the great room if you want warmth with the ambiance.

There's a level 2 EV charger next to the barn to get your EV charged up and ready for your adventure the next day.

Sleeping arrangement:

Bedroom 1 (Master) has king size bed and its own bathroom and closet.

Bedroom 2 has two twin beds with its own bathroom and closet. Note that the 2nd bedroom is not private. You have to walk through the 2nd bedroom to reach the Master Bedroom. So the home is suited more for a single family than multiple families vacationing together.

The Living Room has a Queen sofa bed and comes with bedding for a good night sleep.

Notes
Electric Vehicle Charging (Additional Cost): We have a level 2 EV charger in the property for an additional cost. We will let you know exactly how much you used during your stay and charge you what the power company will charge us for KWH used at the end of your trip. Tesla owners, don’t forget to get your J1772 adapter! Groceries & Restaurants: Since we are between Mariposa and the Park, it would be convenient to do your groceries in Mariposa on the way to the home. Pioneer Market is open until 10:00 pm throughout the year. There’s also an organic country health food store that we love with lots of vegetarian options. They usually close at 7:30 PM. There are a few nice restaurants in Mariposa that might require reservations during busy times of the year. None of them stay open super late, so please call ahead.
